Feeling the Baroque Allure

Florea Family Line

As Sinuous and Rich as the Variety of Flowers

The Florea family line takes its name and inspiration from nature itself. The volutes and curvy lines of every item of this family recalls the magnificence of the Baroque age. Shapes and finishings are more than decorated like the beautiful flowers one can find during a relaxing walk along the mountains or through the vast gardens of the most famous cities. This line is marked by a typical spherical etching enriched with lots of curly mirrored tiles.

The Accademia family line recalls a collection of different important artistic mirrors. The most iconic element of this mirror collection is made by a vast variety of golden and pink shades and beautiful sphere etchings that bring to mind a pearl necklace.

Thumbnail hand beveling

An artistic technique

The handmade thumbnail beveling is a very particular and artistic way to bevel. Arte Veneziana's glass masters use bigger wheels than the ones they uses to engrave glass.

This is the real different between etching and artistic bevelling. And another thing: the thumbnail beveling is done on the glass surface rather than the back.
